It’s a memory I will never forget – the day that changed my life forever. After countless doctor’s appointments and lab tests came back inconclusive, I was finally diagnosed with breast cancer. Following the diagnosis, I had to face an unimaginable challenge: preparing for my first surgery to remove the tumor and affected cells in my body.
It was one of the most difficult times of my life but it inspired me not just to fight but also to share my story with others in hopes that it could provide hope, encouragement and strength during their own battles against cancer.
This is my journey through surgery for breast cancer—a story filled with highs, lows, lessons learned and moments of faith that ultimately led me on a path toward healing and growth.
